To join HablaVideo’s team, interpreters must present references, pass a battery of tests, sign confidentiality agreements, and have a minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in their field. We also thoroughly screen our interpreters to determine their expertise, so that we can best assign them based on their knowledge of dialects, specialized vocabulary, and cultural nuances. Moreover, all of our interpreters receive training for their work in remote settings. Our legal and medical interpreters are certified by federal, state, and international bodies, including the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC), the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (CMI), and state certifying agencies such as the Office of Court Interpreters (OCIS) of the Administrative Office of the Massachusetts Trial Court as part of our commitment to providing superior service to our clients, HablaVideo has developed an in-house program for continuing education and review of our interpreter staff. Our training managers also offer webinars, courses, and consulting services to interpreters, project managers, and clients in a range of professional fields.
